Samsung's Camera Phone ... or Phone Camera?

Samsung calls it "The World's First Super Camera Phone". The new SCH-B600 is a cell phone with a built in 10 mega-pixel camera. This is a Korean release only so it's not very relevant to us in the west hemisphere. But the story serves as a snapshot of the ongoing war of escalation in digital camera power built into cell phones these days. The camera includes Samsung's LED Autofocus feature which will help take pics even where lighting is a problem. The camera phone is fitted with a 2.2" 240 x 320 pixel LCD display and will record video at 320x240 at 30 frames per second. All this camera/phone will cost you dearly with a $900 price tag.

Just looking at the photo of this device begs the question – is it a camera phone or a phone camera?

Hi everyone,

I dont know if anyone can help me but I will try anyway. I have recently purchased a Samsung A707 SYNC phone. The phone works great except one little proble. When I try to send any of my pictures to a photo kioske in Wal-mart I get the message 'service not supported'. But on both of my old phone M551 and my wife's razor they can do it. I have called Samsung and of course some knuckle head just read from a computer screen and couldn't help me. Please help.

Thanks Larry

Looks a little bulky to be a phone, just right to be a camera.  I think I'd need a European carry-all to make that a worthwhile device.
