Bill Gates sat down with bloggers from Engadget, Gizmodo, Kotaku, PodTech.net and Joystiq. His interview with them is even more interesting than his keynote speech at CES.
In this interview, Bill Gates covers a variety of areas, including the decline of role in Microsoft starting in 2008 and also his legacy with Microsoft.
According to Mr. Gates, we can expect much more out of Live including more integration with Office and Windows. Gate’s says he wants Live to “stun people”. But Microsoft will continue to stay only partially out of hardware, and restates a commitment to work with hardware manufacturers. Microsoft seems excited about its new IPTV initiatives and its forthcoming software designed to let Windows make better use of multi-core processors.
Gates is also a Player
Bill Gates commented in the interview that he does play on Xbox Live but that he’s not so good at Halo2. However he is pretty good at PGR2 and other racing games. He also admits later in the interview that he’s got a bit of a lead foot and has received an embarrassing amount of speeding tickets.
