Prada - LG Make an Overpriced Fashion Phone

What else are you going to pull out of your $3,000 Prada handbag? Why a $700 Prada / LG cell phone of course! When it comes to fashion cell phones it’s a bargain compared to Dolce & Gabbana’s cute silver and gold Motorola RazrV3i.

Prada Phone Features
• Capacitive Touch Screen
• Music Player (MP3, ACC, ACC+, WMA, RA)
• Music Multitasking
• Video (MPEG4, H.263, H.264)
• Flash UI by Macromedia
• Document Viewer – txt, ppt, doc, xls, pdf

Prada Phone Specs
• EDGE + Tri-Band (900/1800/1900)
• 98.8 × 54 × 12 mm
• 2M-pxl Camera
• Micro SD External Memory Slot
• Innerpack Battery 800mAh
• Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, USB Mass storage

At least Prada and LG made a special touch screen cell phone and didn’t simply take an ordinary cell phone any prole might own and dip it in gold. The Prada fashion phone is very stylish with a touch screen, black and stainless steel finish. Many across the web are accusing it of looking too much like an iPhone but personally I don’t think so. According to LG it’s a completely touch screen phone which is where the similarities end to the iPhone. The Prada phone doesn’t have any built in storage (although it does have a microSD slot) no wi-fi and no internet browser capabilities. The Prada phone has a .5” smaller screen too. But it’s about the same cost as an iPhone. Both Prada and Apple pride themselves on their small but elite focus group of addicts.
