Wii Goes Portable

Despite the success of Wii it’s a tradition for Nintendo to dominate the portable gaming market. PSP gives Nintendo's DS a run for its money but DS is still king of the portables. It only makes sense that eventually you’d see Nintendo’s Wii made into a portable flavor. Although it’s not quite a production product yet, can one really be very far away.

Ben Heckendorn is the engineer, game lover and contributing blogger to Engadget who created the Wii Laptop. It comes complete with Wii sensor bar a 16:9 widescreen LCD and all the jack you need to connect. The porta-Wii measures 8.6” wide, 7.7” long and its 2” thick.

Mr. Heckendorn will be producing a three part “Making Of” feature to teac others how to build a portable Wii laptop. Expect this article to be published on Engadget starting Jan 23rd.

First post!

Wow, I wants me one of those, though I'm not sure how easy it will be to play four player Wii sports on such a small screen!

Props though, serious props.
