This poll shows how important blogging has become as a form of media. GizmoCafe’s own Gizmo blogger, Wayde Robson is almost as popular as Pirate star, Johnny Depp and has already beaten out Ashton Kutcher, Justin Timberlake and 50 Cent. While this popularity contest is not exactly as scientific as a well planned survey, it does show that blogging about gadgets and gizmos is almost a respectable way to make a living these days. It was only six months ago that the GizmoCafe blog started with its very first post entitled The Gizmo Café. The post was about a clever USB hub that not only warms our coffee but also provides extra USB ports. Since that time we’ve seen so many advances and changes in the gadget world and even added another full time writer named Brando.

Since that time we’ve added video and will start adding more opinionated rants and useful how to guides to video. So, keep tuning in watch us grow.
