iPhone Mobile VoIP by JaJah

Will Apple's new iPhone do mobile VoIP? The answer now is affirmative, thanks to a new startup company called JaJah Inc and its clever new mobile VoIP service. The service is simple, if your Smartphone (including iPhone) can run a browser window simply connect to mobile.jajah.com and use its simple interface to make your call.

The competition for mobile VoIP that works as easily as possible is shaping up to be a fierce battle. Skype is facing technical hurdles, another new tech company called Fring has its own software based solution. But JaJah is the only one so far that can do mobile VoIP without the need to download software, all you need is a browser and it doesn’t require Windows Mobile, which even now is moving in on the mobile VoIP game.

Damn. Go JaJah. So that means without a smartphone, I can still make VoIP calls on a PDA that supports voice-in? For instance I can record into my PDA through a built-in mic used for voice notes. Hm ... if not I'm pretty sure some dudes/dudettes are hacking that ... as ... we ... speak!

I like the iPhone multi-touch technology for easy navigation. This will be the next PDA generation.

Seems like Cisco and Apple should have been working on joint projects before this.

I for one don’t care what Apple calls their phone. They could have named it “Pete” and it would have been

okay. Since the Superbowl ads, Apple could only upset me by naming their phone “Snickers.”
