Is it just me or does this article give no compelling reason why the elite couldn't have the same finish as all other xboxes?

Whatever Sooper. Black is the same as the original Xbox, the beast of a system you could kill someone with. PS3 meh. maybe once it's got some games... but then I guess nobody would be able to play them anyways as they've all gone and bought Wii's

LOL's attempt at grammar, Puppet's lack of understanding the laws of relativity, SooperGooMan's blatant bashing, or the fact that no one can actually see the marketing message here by XBOX.

Microsoft wanted to be elite, so they adopted the clean and "minimalism" aspects of Apple, and now they're going "back to their roots" with a full black model. There's nothing wrong with giving options to consumers, especially when you can package it differently and sell it at a higher cost. Making money! MS is good at that to say the least.

Well, the only thing cool about the elite is the big hard-drive. I just bought my Xbox 360 (non elite) a few weeks ago and there is an HDMI output in the back. Funny, because it was advertised as one of the elite's few advantages over the non elite system.
